Hey all, just a few more updates for this year's event.
The Friday Night Appetizer & Dessert party/comp will be run differently this year.
This year, all teams will stay at their booth for this event and hand out the samples from their booth.
The public will donate $10 to the Charity and get a wristband. They will come around to all the booths and get a sample from you for either Appetizer or Dessert or both. When they get their wristband, they will also get a paper that has all the teams listed on it as well as 3 columns. One for Appetizer, one for Dessert and one for Best Booth. After they go through to all the teams, they will turn that back in to us and we will tally the winners.
Event runs from 7 pm - 8 pm. We will have entertainment as well as the Beer Garden open for this evening.
Here are the payouts this year for these.
Appetizer
1st - $75
2nd - $50
3rd - $25
Dessert
1st - $75
2nd - $50
3rd - $25
Best Booth
1st - $75
2nd - $50
3rd - $25
Then we will also have a cumulative prize for the team who does the best in all 3. That team will win a brand new Green Mountain Grills Daniel Boone Smoker.
We really want to make the Friday night event a good one, so please come prepared and bring enough that you can at least give out 40 - 50 servings.
We are only going to have 100 wristbands available.
