Title: 2015 Springerville Fall Fest
Post by: Mike (AZBarbeque) on May 10, 2015, 07:06:47 pm
Hey all, this year's event in Springerville is just going to be a BBQ Festival/Rib Burn/Social/Charity Event.

Instead of a competition, we are just going to have one big get together & BBQ Club Festival.

Mike is working on getting a bunch of ribs donated so we can cook them up and help raise some money for the charity associated with this year's event, the Round Valley Historical Society (www.facebook.com/SpringervilleHeritageCenter)

The Event this year will be at 418 E. Main Street, Springerville, AZ.  There is a large grassy area for trailers, its at the police department, there is a playground on location, water and electricity (110 Only).

There is NO cost to attend this year, but we do ask that everyone coming help out with the 2 main meals each day (Breakfast & Dinner) as well as help cook up some ribs & great food for the public and the charity.  We will have more info on this later.

Please post up if you are coming and which meals you can assist with and what you will bring/make.

Dates are: Labor Day weekend.

Thursday - September 3rd, 2015 (Dinner only this day)
Friday - September 4th, 2015 (Breakfast & Dinner)
Saturday - September 5th, 2015 (Breakfast & Dinner)
Sunday - September 6th, 2015 (Breakfast only this day)

This will be our First event like this and we are excited to be once again teaming up with the city of Springerville & Mike & Mary Nuttall.

I will also create a Facebook event page for this event, please help share & promote this event as we would love to have as many of our AZBarbeque members & BBQ Enthusists there as possible.

If you don't want to camp out, there are several hotels in Springerville.  We encourage you to come on up and join us for what's sure to be a fun weekend.

I will need the Vendor application A.S.A.P.  There is no charge for it. you can fax it to me at 928  333-3350 or the county health department at 928 337-7592 or email me at mnuttall@springervilleaz.gov and I will see that they get it. Thanks everyone in advance for doing this, I think this will be a fun event for everyone to unwind.  I am still trying to get some raffle or giveaways for prizes from our local business's.  There will be prize money involved on the judged ribs and peoples choice.  Look forward to seeing some old and meeting some new friends.

[/quote] The Rode Inn is our host hotel and I would recommend that you contact them if you need a room. They are within walking distance to the completion site. There number is 928 333-4365.  Hope to see lots of participants. The weather is really nice right now. See you all when you get here.
