The Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill was founded in 1988. This endeavor evolved from the dreams and creative thinking of passionate, persistent, and prepared father and son entrepreneurs in Burns, Kansas. As friends observed the ease of use and tasted the delicious food, they wanted one for themselves. After building several units for friends, Ron Goodwin decided to put them on the market at The Good-One™ Smoker/Grill. The innovative design with a grill and firebox in front and a smoker in the back was unlike anything on the market. The 20 years that followed were filled with expanding The Good-One™ line and marketing the products through word of mouth with a focus on competition BBQ contests. Any smoker can be used in cooking championship BBQ; however with The Good-One™ it’s just easier. The innovative design of The Good-One™ charcoal smoker/grill moves the heat and smoke over the meat for uniform cooking perfection. It holds the heat at the right temperature for the old-fashioned pit BBQ taste. Whether using our Good-One™ Natural Hardwood Lump Charcoal or other quality charcoal, you will find The Good-One™ smoker/grill will do a great job!
